With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, everything has changed dramatically. It also means that it will affect the way we celebrate Diwali this year. No large gatherings or constant visiting your friends’ homes for Diwali food.
Most of us can stick to the routine of celebrating the holiday season with close friends or just family. But that shouldn’t stop you from dressing up. It’s time to bring out your ethnic clothes for the closet, experimenting with different styles this time around. To help you, Shahid Kapoor’s stylist Anisha jain will guide us on how to dress for the Gharwali Diwali this year.
Find out how you can dress for all three occasions.
For this look, Jain says, “She’s styling Kapoor in Anita Dongre’s kurta for the festivities. The outfit is perfect for the occasion as the color combination is simple but it always stands out. We went for lace up shoes instead of going for traditional Indian shoes which makes it different. “
FOR DIWALI PARTIES
Jain continues, “Kapoor wore this outfit for one of the festive parties. It’s beautiful and simple but at the same time it’s so crisp and between all who wore color and embroidery it stands out so well and makes a statement. You can enjoy the night because the outfit is cool and airy, which makes it more comfortable. “
FOR BHAI DOOJ
“This Khanijo outfit is perfect for Bhai Dooj. It adds color and you can literally wear it with jeans or dress pants. It’s your choice, you can take any route. But just the fact that the print and the colors are mixed together, it’s fun for a date with your brother, ”concludes Jain.
These three tips would definitely take your style game to the next level this holiday season.
