Lamborghini has a habit of teasing tankers with incredible designs, or track vehicles that can only be admired from afar with no possibility of taking it on the road. But soon you’ll see Lamborghini’s loudest supercar – Huracan STO – on the roads, and yes, it’s as crazy as its admirable predecessors.

Following in the footsteps of other models in the Huracán lineup, the Huracán Super Trofeo Omologata (STO) is another powerful addition to this already impressive list. Inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO and the Huracán GT3 EVO, the STO is a road-approved hypercar from the Italian automaker.

With a weight of 1339 kg, the STO is one of Lamborghini’s lightest cars to date, thanks to the intensive use of carbon fiber. In terms of design, the STO is mainly a Huracán. He’s not afraid of the speedster elements. Yep, we’re talking about that huge spoiler and that paint.

But what really sets this Lambo apart is what powers it – a 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine. The V10 produces 640 hp and 565 Nm of peak torque and helps the Huracan STO sprint from 0 to 100 km in just 3 seconds with a mind-boggling top speed of 310 km / h.

“The Huracan STO is the purest embodiment of Lamborghini Squadra Corse heritage, directly
technology transfer from the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO and based on the Huracán GT3
EVO’s unique achievement of winning three consecutive 24 Hours of Daytona, ”said
Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

Maurizio Reggiani, Technical Director, added: “The Huracan STO delivers all the excitement of a beautifully balanced, lightweight and aerodynamically superior super sports car, reflecting the driving feel and exhilaration of the Super Trofeo, and perfectly configured for the most demanding tracks in the world, but
created for the road. Extensive technical solutions and intelligence from our two Super
The Trofeo and GT3 programs have been refined and incorporated into the Huracán STO, allowing the pilot
to experience the emotions of a racing driver, every day, in a Lamborghini super sports car approved for the road
able to take lap records. “
