The latest Maharashtra government ordinance places strict restrictions on fireworks this holiday season. The decision met with mixed reactions, with some welcoming it, while others were upset by the decision. But anyway, it’s the law, and there’s no need to stay angry because we have other activities that you might divert your enthusiasm into.

Light diyas

What if you can’t light fireworks? There is always a subtle joy in lighting up DIYs with family and friends. Lighting fireworks is all about having a sense of connection with everyone around you, and lighting diyas are a more peaceful and environmentally friendly way to maintain that connection.

Take out the cards

What is Diwali without some good old cards. Gather family and close friends and take a seat at the table for a competitive and lively game of taash or whatever you prefer. Do you want to make it more interesting? Try adding some money to it, for a much more fun experience.

Play a game of Diwali

If you’re done with your cards and won a few bucks, you can move on to other types of games. Play the Diwali Never Have I Ever special with kaju katlis or motichoor laddoos. But in case you need to be more traditional, just keep playing the game with alcohol.

Take to the dance floor

In the end, the only thing left to do is get on the dance floor and start the real party. Worried about music? We can help you. Listen to our Bollywood Diwali Playlist, to start your party.
